This design is a 3Dmodel of an Armed Virginia Sloop. This vessel of cheap tonnage was imported by the British merchants in the 18th century. This single-masted vessel had a reputation for solid construction, weatherliness, and the ability to sail well in light and moderate air. It has a great potential of speed with its 12.5 knots max (14.3 mph). This model is made of separate parts that are usable in other environments. A preload node parents all that is needed for the vessel. This node assumes a central control to make the gun, swivel gun, sails, and helm work with just a click. There are 6 detailed textures provided in both Iray and 3Delight rendering systems. Some light controls of several elements are available in Iray mode.
