迅猛龙（Deinonychus antirrhopus，意为“可怕的爪子”）是一种食肉的馳龍科恐龙。它生活在白垩纪早期，约1.15亿至1.08亿年前（从阿普阶中期到阿尔布阶早期）。其化石在美国蒙大拿州、怀俄明州和俄克拉荷马州均有发现，不过，在更东边的马里兰州也发现了可能属于迅猛龙的牙齿化石

Deinonychus antirrhopus Deinonychus (meaning "terrible claw") is a genus of carnivorous dromaeosaurid dinosaur.It lived during the early Cretaceous Period, about 115-108 million years ago (from the mid-Aptian to early Albian stages). Fossils have been found from the U.S. states of Montana, Wyoming, and Oklahoma, though teeth that may belong to Deinonychus have been found much farther east in Maryland.
