Inspired by the leather armor of the Mongol heavy cavalry, this set for Genesis 8 male is appropriate for both historical and fantasy renders. The armor is rigged so the position of the tassets and the scimitar scabbard can be adjusted to prevent clipping when posed, then dForce can be applied for the final fitting. Care should be taken in posing, because the overlapping layers of the main armor increases the chance of causing pinching and resulting in mesh explosions when dForce is applied. This can be worked around by moving the bends out far enough to allow simulation to complete, then moving them back for the render. Included are five sample poses, three on foot and two riding (if you have a horse.) After the figure is posed, use the adjustment handles on the leather armor to eliminate any clipping of the tassets and scabbard before applying dForce. Final fitting uses dForce, but depending on the pose and the demands of the scene, may not be required.
