She stems from a family of Italian Academy actors who were the first to portray the Zanni characters. Following the tradition of the New Comedy, Elvira loves to portray different masked stock characters. However, her favorite Zanni is Arlecchino (Harlequin), the famous astute servant and trickster. Her well-rehearsed lazzi and concetti (jokes & physical acts) are clever, witty and very acrobatic.
