Reptilian Skins for Genesis 8.1 Females is a texture pack that consists of 4 distinct skins (and alternate versions) to change any character into an alien or a fantastical creature. These skins were created to serve as a counterpart for Alternate Textures for Oso Newt and Genesis 8.1 Males. As such, we followed the same color scheme and style but included extra skin color variants of each skin. In addition, we also included texture options for both female and male anatomical elements since Genesis 8.1 Female is able to wear the Male anatomical elements. This also means that if you use UV Swap for Genesis 8.1, you should be able to apply these textures to male characters as well. And unlike with Oso Newt's Alternate Textures, these skins were created following the curves and anatomy of a human character rather than adapting them from Newt's reptilian shape. This Skin texture pack should help you reimagine any human or creature combined with the shapes already in your library. Here are the concepts we used for the 4 skin options and their alternate versions: Each concept has 1 main look and 3 variations for a total of 16 Full Skin Presets. And since we've included textures for Female and Male, that accounts for 32 extra Hierarchical Material Presets. While you can use the looks as envisioned, we understand and value the importance of customization, so we have included several partial Iray materials to help you tweak, refine, and mix things together to create a brand-new look. These refinement presets include 31 eye material presets, 10 mouth presets, and 9 teeth presets. We have also included presets to turn on and off the displacement maps to help with clothing poke-through and lower render times. While we followed specific concepts in the creation of these hand-painted skins, it is up to you to decide what type of roles and scenarios you would like the character to fill! Important: The skins in this product do not use the new PBR skin shader, but they have been set up to work with Genesis 8.1 Base Female's UVs.
