When most people think of subsurface scattering the first thing that comes to mind is skin and the importance of using it to make characters look realistic. In the real world subsurface scattering is in all sorts of materials though, and it's often just as important when making those surfaces look real. Subsurface Workshop intends to bring these realistic effects to your library. Inside you'll find a huge library of 150 full presets for cloth, wax, plastics, liquids and more. All presets in this set are designed as injectors meant to work with existing texture information so they're easy to use on all your existing content. The additional 150 included SSS Only presets allow you to add subsurface scattering effects to materials you're already happy with, adding the new features without changing things like speculiarity.
